What is a Basic License?

Basic Licensing Rights allow you to use the beat for 1 Commercial Recording or Broadcast. This recording can then be distributed at your price for up to 2,500 copies. Selling more than 2,500 copies for each instance of a 2,500 copy limit, means you must acquire a new Basic License, or upgrade to a Premium License. Unlimited use of the beat for non-profit, promotional use or demos is granted. In the event that someone buys Premium Rights to a beat you have previously licensed, your rights shall stand and the beat is still yours to use.  If a Premium License is obtained by another party for a beat you already have Basic Licensing Rights for, you cannot obtain a Premium License for that same beat. You may however acquire new Basic Licensing Rights if you sell more than 2,500 copies since your contract predates Premium Sale. You have full rights to record, alter, mix the beat in any shape, way, or form. Reselling the Beat as an Instrumental Alone is Prohibited. The seller will not receive a royalty from the sale of records or downloads. You must however give full credit to the licensor, P-Status/Beats for Budgets.com (either/or) on all commercial recordings, non-profit and demo use. Upon purchasing Basic Licensing Rights, the licensor still owns the beat(s) and is still able to license/resell the beat(s) to any other party until Premium Rights have been purchased.

What is a Standard License?

Standard Licensing Rights allow you to use the beat for 1 Commercial Recording or Broadcast. This recording can then be distributed at your price for up to 3,500 copies. Selling more than 3,500 copies for each instance of a 3,500 copy limit, means you must acquire a new Standard License, or upgrade to a Premium License. In the event that someone buys Premium Rights to a beat you have previously licensed, your rights shall stand and the beat is still yours to use.  If a Premium License is obtained by another party for a beat you already have Standard Licensing Rights for, you cannot obtain a Premium License for that same beat. You may still acquire new Standard Licensing Rights if you sell more than 3,500 copies since your contract predates Premium Sale.
